Roster Customization Guide
Roster editing is deeper than ever in College Football 26. The process is now broken down into CFB 26 Coins two core tabs:
1. Bio Tab
Name, height, weight, number, and appearance
Redshirt eligibility
Star rating out of high school
Dealbreaker Threshold - determines how quickly a player may transfer if unhappy
2. Skills & Abilities Tab
Archetype (Scrambler QB, Possession WR, etc.)
Development Trait (Slow, Normal, Fast)
Potential rating (Low/Medium/High)
Abilities System: Players receive Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum tiers in:
Physical Abilities (tied to archetype)
Mental Abilities (non-upgradable; position-based)
Your decisions here affect real-time Overall, Offense, and Defense ratings shown live on the Roster Tab as you build. Perfect for balancing teams.
New Content: High Schools, Stadiums & More
For the first time, you can create high school teams from scratch. These can be used as:
Story tools for Dynasty backstories
In-universe feeder programs
Custom opponents in exhibition or practice modes
Also included:
Unbranded stadiums for a more local, small-school feel
Updated uniforms and logo template options
Many of the best teams from College Football 25 (like custom FCS programs) are now canon in buy College Football 26 Coins the new game added by EA as part of their curated FCS expansion.
